Afri Exports works with buyers who need repeatable cardamom for retail packs, coffee, baking, spice blends and extraction. Our supply starts in Tanzania's Eastern Arc highlands, where green pods are collected from shade gardens, cured, screened and packed for export.
The right grade depends on what happens after delivery. A visible whole pod needs strong colour and a larger screen. Cardamom that will be milled or extracted should be bought on aroma, moisture, cleanliness and value, not appearance alone. We help buyers write the specification before we quote.
Choose the grade around the end use
A clear end use prevents overpaying for appearance or receiving a grade that does not perform in your product.
Coffee and general whole-spice trade
The 7 to 8 mm grade balances a full pod, strong aroma and a more workable wholesale price.
Grinding and food production
The 6 to 7 mm and 6 mm grades avoid a premium for looks when the pod will go through a mill.
Baking and flavour extraction
Decorticated seeds remove the husk and place more aromatic seed into every kilogram bought.

We confirm grade, volume, destination, packing and the checks that will appear in the contract.
2. Approve a sample
A representative sample lets your team check colour, screen size, aroma and handling before the commercial order.
3. Confirm the test report
The shipped lot is checked for the agreed measures, including moisture, volatile oil and foreign matter where specified.
4. Pack and ship
We prepare the agreed cartons and export documents, then ship under the contracted route from Tanzania.

What is your minimum order for wholesale green cardamom?
Our starting commercial MOQ is 500 kg of one grade. We can send a representative pre-shipment sample before the commercial order is confirmed.
Can you help me choose between 8 mm, 7 mm and 6 mm cardamom?
Yes. Tell us whether the pod will be displayed whole, cracked into coffee, milled into a blend or used for extraction. We will recommend the lowest-cost grade that fits the job.
Do you publish a fixed wholesale price?
No. Cardamom prices change with grade, crop timing, volume, packing and freight. We quote against a defined lot so the price and specification refer to the same product.
